With 95 spacious, well appointed rooms and suites, free breakfast, large pool area and locally-famous waterslide, we are a small hotel, with big offerings Our hotel welcomes guests to Squamish from around the world, and around the country, we are also an essential service in the community, helping locals with a place to stay in a time of need. **JOB REQUIREMENTS / DUTIES**:

- Working as a team to Delight Our Guests. That's Number 1 Team-work makes Dream-work
- Effective and respectful communication in English (other languages an asset)
- Welcome and work with people from around the world, with diverse cultures and backgrounds
- Maintain high, professional standards, supporting the company brand and image
- Develop professional relationships with clients, return guests and corporate partners
- Check guests in and out of the hotel, answering questions and offering support/help
- Compute bills, make and change reservations, assist with sales enquiries and collect payments using our industry leading PMS (Property Management System)
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations, showing professionalism, tact and care
- Ensure Sandman policies and procedures are followed an efficient manner at all times
- Work closely with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction, resolving complaints and room issues in a timely, courteous manner
- Other administrative tasks as required
- Must be available 7-3:30pm and weekends

APPLICABLE SKILLS:

- Full Training will be provided, as well as ongoing coaching and support. Previous hotel experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Customer Service experience is desirable
- Demonstrate good judgement, common sense and tact in dealing with challenges
- Respectful communicator - Friendly, approachable and helpful
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. (We will train you on our Property Management Software)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to set priorities
- Trustworthy, reliable and dependable
