ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

**Position Summary**
This position involves driving a powered industrial truck equipped with forklift, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in warehouse or factory.

**Key Duties And Responsibilities**
- Transport finished jobs or goods to correct areas
- Move pallets of goods for jobs in process to appropriate area
- Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
- May confer with managers to ensure coordination of other production lines
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS

**Education Required**
High School Diploma or Equivalent

**Education Desired**
High School Diploma or Equivalent

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

**Work Experience Required**
Experience driving a stand-up forklift desired, previous warehouse experience

**Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired**
- Ability to pass certification in order to operate a fork/lift truck
- Ability to understand and use all applicable aspects of WMS, interpret instructions oral and written
- Ability to perform duties while sitting, standing, walking and lifting for certain times throughout the shift
- Ability to work with plant management for required results, work as part of a team and produce at a high level
- Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested by Shipping & Receiving Supervisor/ Manager

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

**Physical Requirements**
- Primarily works in a factory and/or warehouse setting
- Be exposed to dusty conditions, moving machinery, and high noise levels, occasionally stand and walk, continuously sit
