London, Canada Faith Day Nursery Full time

This position is an 18 month contact position with the possibility of going full time.

We are currently seeking a Director for our non-profit Child Care Centre. We are a faith based child care located at Faith Tabernacle Church.

**Education & Skills Qualifications**:

- Early Childhood Educator Diploma
- Registered and in Good Standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
- 5 years’ experience in a licensed centre with preferably 2 years of related supervisory experience
- Knowledge of Ministry of Education Guidelines and Legislation
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C Certification
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check (within 6 months)
- Up-to-date immunizations required by Public Health, Ministry of Education

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow and ensure the program policies and procedures, as well as the day-to-day operation, are in accordance with the regulations of the Program and The Ministry of Education, Child Care Early Years Act. (2014), Public Health and Fire Regulations for licenced childcare centres
- Supervise and support day to day operations of the centre, including staff, family engagement and inclusive programming
- Oversee biblical teaching and spiritual well-being of the centre
- Initiative and flexibility, with the ability to adapt quickly to situations in a dynamic work environment.
- Above average ability to work independently, multi-task, time management, and organizational skills.
- Anticipates and is responsive to address issues and concerns at work
- Maintain accurate records, files and forms as required by the Ministry of Education
- Communicate with parents and community partners in a professional manner maintaining an inviting and inclusive environment.
- Oversee all registrations of children and monitor enrollment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
