**About Us**

School 2.0 is an after-school tutoring center in Toronto dedicated to helping students build strong academic foundations and lifelong skills. We specialize in small-group and individualized programs that make learning engaging and meaningful. For Literacy, our focus is on fostering confident readers and effective writers, ensuring students not only improve their grades but also develop a genuine love for language.

**We’re looking for passionate Literacy Tutors who**:

- Have **experience teaching English and/or French Literacy** to kids (reading, writing, grammar, comprehension).
- Love working with children and can make Literacy engaging and fun.
- Use interactive and creative methods to build skills and confidence.
- Are patient, energetic, and encouraging.
- Can support learners from **JK**through **Grade 8**.
- Knowledge of **Spanish or Italian**at an instructional level **is an asset**(not a requirement).

**Responsibilities**:

- Teach small groups (max. 5 students) in after-school Literacy sessions.
- Support students with reading comprehension, writing structure, grammar, and vocabulary-building.
- Pick up students from their schools after dismissal and bring them to the center (walking, driving or by TTC, depending on school location).
- Ensure a safe and positive environment during pick-up and at the center.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience teaching kids English and/or French Literacy.
- **Current CPR & First Aid certification.**:

- **Current Vulnerable Sector Check.**:

- Comfortable and reliable in **school pick-up duties** (walking, driving or by TTC).
