Position Summary:
Cambridge Materials Testing (CMTL), a division of Acuren, is currently recruiting for a Laboratory Technician, to support our services in our Cambridge, Ontario laboratory. If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow ISO and company quality standards
- Operation of ICP-OES spectometer and Leco combustion analyzers
- Maintain chemical analysis equipment and safety/maintenance checklists as directed by Chemical Analysis Department Supervisor or Laboratory Manager

**Requirements**:

- B.Sc. or related technology/technician diploma with 2 years related experience is preferred
- Previous experience with ICP-AES and Leco combustion analysis methods is an asset
- Well organized, detail-oriented
- Must be able to work accurately in a fast-paced setting
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Strong verbal communication and with ability to follow written directions
- Team player with willingness to learn and develop on the job

Cambridge Materials Testing (CMTL), a division of Acuren is an independent testing laboratory accredited to ISO 17025 by the Standards Council of Canada and for Nadcap materials testing. CMTL provides a wide range of materials testing including chemical, mechanical and physical testing, metallurgical investigations, weld qualifications and coating performance evaluations.
