Turndown Attendant

The Millcroft Inn & Spa is seeking Turndown Attendants to clean and turndown guest rooms as assigned by the housekeeping supervisor and assist in training of new Turndown Attendants when required.
- Providing personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity.
- Collect assigned rooms and other duties as required.
- Assist with Guest service of PM requests, amenities, set up of cots/cribs.
- Prepare turndown roses.
- Provide turndown service: replenish and refresh the Guests’ amenities.
- Add all necessary supplies to the room as requested or needed.
- Vacuum and remove all dirty dishes and trays.
- Having a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties’ products and services.
- Suggesting additional products and services meeting our Guests’ specific preferences.
- Assessing guests’ individual needs to meet standards for additional products and services.
- Actively seeking ways to meet Guests’ product or service needs.
- Provide assistance to PM Lobby Attendant to service pool towels based on business demands.
- Keep work area and hallways well maintained and cleaned.
- All other duties as assigned.
**Professional Requirements**:
- Grade 10 Education.
- Basic literacy in English.
- Previous up-selling and/or sales experience is considered an asset.

- Capable of prioritizing work and handling a variety of tasks.
- Confidence in selling and up-selling products.
- Positive sales oriented personality.
- Desire to meet goals.
- Ethical and honest.
Physical Requirements:
- Some lifting may be required.
- Required to have good physical stamina.
- Standing and walking throughout majority of the shift.
