Production Supervisor

**Summary**
Stephano Group Ltd. is a family owned, Canadian food processing company. We are seeking a highly motivated production supervisor to join our growing team.
The production supervisor is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations, supervising production staff, organizing and monitoring a safe work environment, developing a culture of continuous improvement and acts as a mentor to support team in development.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Assist the production manager in production operations, management and supervision of production staff.
- Assist in creating and implementing weekly production schedule.
- Conduct daily daily team meetings with all zones prior to the start of the shift.
- Perform daily operational inspections.
- Monitor production flow including changeovers and ensures all testings are completed.
- Assists in training on use of control points, equipment and resources, verifies working hours.
- Establishes production priorities, monitors progress and resolves production issues.
- Maintain, follows and implement the HACCP program and Corporate Quality Management System.
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment, identifying and reporting safety concerns, and adhering to all safety programs and practices.
- Lead and build a diverse team of skilled employees to drive peak performance and invigorate the workforce.
- Develop and mentor employees through training, providing support, identifying performance concerns, conducting performance appraisals, and fostering a positive culture.
- Maintain accurate documentation and filing of all production paperwork, inspects equipment and assists in managing material consumption.
**Qualifications**:
- Good practical knowledge of GMP, HACCP and Food Safety
- A minimum of 2 years experience supervising a team.
- A minimum of 1 years experience in food manufacturing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge to diagnose and troubleshoot minor adjustments to equipment.
- Ability to bend, reach, twist, push, grip, pull repetitively, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work on feet for duration of shift.
- Ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships and work effectively with others.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, handles conflict and crisis situations.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, planning and time-management skills.
