FULL-TIME CENTRE CUSTODIAN

Position Overview:
The Facility Cleaner is responsible for the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of the Facility and Equipment Cleaning at the Boys and Girls Club of Niagara
- EJ Freeland Community. The facility Cleaner is responsible to the Facility/General Manager.

The Facility Cleaner/Maintenance worker is a full-time hourly position (37.5 hours per week). Compensation is $15.50 - $16.50. Mornings, evenings and some weekends may be required.

Qualifications:

- Able to secure a current Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector obtained within the last 6 months
- Participate in Club provided training in Health and Safety, Standard First Aid with CPR-C,
- A valid Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliverables include but are not exclusive to:

- Clean offices, meeting chambers and recreational facilities
- Mop tile and concrete floor areas
- Vacuum all carpeted areas
- Dust all furniture and fixtures as required
- Wash and disinfect all washroom floors, toilets, toilet seats, hand dryers and fixtures
- Empty all waste baskets and garbage cans
- Clean entrance and exit including glass, doors and hardware
- Keep the outside area near the exit and entrance clear of snow, cans, paper, etc.
- Perform and/or report minor maintenance repairs
- Wash and buff floors with a floor polisher
- Wash entrance and exit floors
- Facility and equipment are cleaned and maintained as per handbooks:

- Grounds maintenance meets industry standards;
- Training attended and certifications maintained.
