NRG Consulting & Contracting Ltd is a well-established B.C. owned and operated company that specializes in installing commercial tenant improvement work in the lower mainland.

We are looking for a highly motivated and hardworking individual that is looking to start in the construction industry. This position offers the opportunity for hands-on learning.

Successful applicants will:

- Be physically fit and be able to follow direction closely.
- Have strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Have a commitment to ongoing training, strong work ethic, and safe work practices.
- Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Assets for this position include:

- Prior experience in general labour or hands-on tool experience.
- Forklift certification
- First aid
- Basic/Level 1
- Scissor lift and fall protection certification.

Job details:

- General site housekeeping and organizing
- Site safety and awareness of surrounding trades
- Physically able to lift 40-50 lbs
- Assist Supervisor with variety of tasks
- Adherence to safety protocols when using equipment and hand tools
- Availability Monday-Friday 7am-4pm in the Langley area, up to 40 hours per week

**Requirements**:

- Required PPE: Steel toed boots, work clothes, hard hat and vest.
- Criminal record check may be required
- Must have a valid drivers license, a clean drivers abstract and reliable access to a vehicle.

Rates range up to **$22 - $28/hour depending on experience**(Benefits after probation period).
