As a Manager in Data Management, AML/ATF Models and Analytics team, you will contribute to building better ways to approach all banking systems data for AML/ATF by using your engineering, analytical and communication skills to work with different business partners across Scotiabank Globally. **Key Accountabilities**: - Deep Dive into banking source data, perform data profiling and analysis to determine better dimensional/hierarchical data for AML/ATF model and predictive data analysis - Conduct Data Quality Assessment Report for AML/ATF Models - Review, analyze and assess data mapping documents related to AML/ATF models - Work with AML Risk, AML Data, Technology partners, Countries to solve infrastructure, data mapping and quality issues - Support any new data project for the team - Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge - Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct. **Experience / Education**: - Strong knowledge and working experience of SQL, Python, Hive, Relational Databases, Hadoop Environment and Linux - Strong knowledge and working experience of data lifecycle for customer, account, and transactional data - Fluent in Spanish would be strong asset and highly preferred - Previous experience with data modelling and data analysis - Strong communication skills and manage expectations with diverse groups for stakeholders - Familiar with Banking data, products and services - Oracle Mantas Application experience and knowledge would be asset - Bachelor's degree in STEM, Business, Finance, FRM, etc. **This is a temporary, full time role for 12 months.** Location(s): Canada : Ontario : Toronto Scotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
