Our Dufferin store (located between Finch and Steeles in North York) is now hiring a Meat Clerk to join our Meat Department Team
**About Us**
Coppa’s Fresh Market is a family-owned and operated grocery store chain in the Greater Toronto Area. We are committed to providing a truly authentic grocery experience, where customers get exceptional value, great service, and selection of the finest quality food from around the corner and around the world
- Provide customer service at the Meat department counter; receiving customer orders, handling inquiries, etc.
- Prepare, weigh and package consumer-sized portions of meat for sale
- Attractively display meat, poultry and fish items in the display counter
- Wrap prepared meats, poultry and fish
- Additional duties as required
**Job Requirements**
- Previous experience working in customer service is required; experience in a grocery store or meat department is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and customer-focused
- Food Handler’s Certification is preferred
- Health and safety orientated with a passion for cleanliness adhering to food, safety and sanitation standards
- Physically fit with strong manual dexterity; comfortable standing, bending, walking and lifting for long periods of time
- Open availability; must be flexible to work all shifts including days, evenings and weekends. Full-time positions available
