**ABOUT US**
Breka Bakery & Café is a local family business born in 2006. Regularly voted among Vancouver’s best bakeries and cafes, it offers high-quality and reasonably priced coffee, bread, donuts, pastries, sandwiches, cakes, cookies and more - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year - in its 8 locations.
**WHAT A DAY WOULD LOOK LIKE**:
- Measure and mix ingredients using commercial mixers
- Make cream and other filling
- Bake sponge and build/assemble cakes
- Other prep duties
- General cleaning of the station
**WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:
- Energetic and diligent in performing tasks
- Team player with good collaboration skills
- Punctuality and flexibility in work hours and shift coverage
- Reliable attendance for all scheduled shifts
- Minimum 4 shifts required per week for Full-Time
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Hardworking & energetic
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual & able to work flexible shifts or cover when needed
- Able to work well as a part of a team
- Positive attitude and ability to take directions well
- Self-motivated and can work well unsupervised
- Physically able to fit to lift heavy equipment 50lbs/25kg
- Have 1+ years of experience in a cafe or bakery setting. This one isn't a requirement but definitely a bonus
