All of our policies, procedures and processes are designed to help us achieve this mission, therefore creating value for Precision in protecting and enhancing our Customer’s Brand in the marketplace. In doing so, we expect you to help us build and run a world-class, “Last Mile” delivery operation which shall exceed all stakeholder expectations, including the Company, Clients, Customers, Employees, and Independent Owner Operators, (IOO’s). Precision is a recognized leader in "Last Mile" deliveries. We are continuing to grow, and the position of Safety Compliance and Quality Manager is vital to meeting our Mission and business goals. The position is directly responsible for the following activities: - Implement, monitor and control processes to ensure all Independent Owner Operators are in full compliance with Safety requirements for all government jurisdictions. - Implement, monitor and control processes to ensure that the onboarding process is complete and followed prior to any IOO providing services under contract to Precision. - Review and update all Standard Operating Procedures, (SOP’s), to enable consistent implementation in all operating locations. - Liaise with all Operations Supervisors and Managers to develop and implement training programs to ensure the highest levels of service, safety, productivity, and cost controls will meet company objectives. - Conduct regular audits to ensure that monthly safety and maintenance reports are complete, accurate, and submitted on time. - Conduct regular terminal audits to ensure that all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures are in full compliance **SCORECARD - Key Accountabilities** **ACCOUNTABILITIES** **RATING and COMMENTS **Critical Metrics** - Onboarding process complete and accurate. - Ensure 100% driver road audits for all new IOO’s - Criminal Record checks on all drivers at least annually - Driver’s Abstracts to be completed every 6 months - Monthly maintenance reports on all vehicles submitted complete, accurate and on time. - Support terminal operators to ensure regular road audits are completed for at least one audit per driver per year. - Health, Safety, and Environment in formation to be up to date and clearly posted in all locations. - Reporting Times at 100% and Accuracy at 99% Compliance at all times (except Acts of God, etc ) - Provide information to Operations Supervisors and Managers for daily safety meetings as appropriate. - Conduct terminal audits for each location at least twice each year. - Consistently attending all required Precision and/or Customer related Conference Calls. 1 **Active Management** - Execution of Process-Oriented Executional Discipline Model to ensure we protect Precision’s R5 Model. - Ensure consistent execution of SOPs in all locations. - Support Operations efforts to utilize lean processes. - Pro-active Communications with all locations and all key customer contracts. - Relationship building with customers, landlords, and government representatives to ensure service requirements meet expectations, daily housekeeping and maintaining a safe workplace. - Continuous reinforcement to team members (IOOs/Drivers) of our need to protect and enhance our customer’s Brand - Foster an environment of ongoing learning, mutual respect, integrity, ethical standards and professionalism at all times with the members of your team, the customer(s) and all associated members of the Company. 2 **Process, Procedures & Reporting** - Ability to plan/organize, prioritize and keeping detailed notes of activities. - Ability to effectively troubleshoot through problems/issues and perform tasks in a cohesive manner. - Detail oriented and excellent organization and planning skills. - Reporting Accurately and On-Time: - Onboarding of new IOO’s - Monthly Vehicle Maintenance Reports - Accident/ Incident Reports - Road Audit Reports - Terminal Audit Reports 3 **Training & Audits** - Driver training including defensive driving and safe work methods - Constantly assess processes, training needs, company needs and have a documented training plan at all times. - IOO Scorecard Metrics evaluated and communicated quarterly. - Support the Development of “A” Caliber teams of IOOs. Since they do the bulk of the direct work, their “Caliber” and the “Expectations” set by the leader will dictate our performance. - Support Road Audits to achieve one road audit per driver per year and complete documentation. - Support Customer Surveys to achieve one customer survey per IOO/ Driver per
