**About the Role**:
The Project Coordinator will play a crucial supportive role for the Project Manager and management team. As part of the project management team, they will be required to be strategic, transparent and committed to the continual improvement of the business. In addition, they should have a meticulous attention to detail, have high standards of customer service, and demonstrate precision with the English language. They must be highly organized and adaptive to perform a variety of administrative, clerical and laboratory tasks.

Duties of the Project Coordinator will facilicate our goal of delivering timely and accurate data to our clients by providing meticulous end-to-end coordination of our laboratory projects. Responsibilities include preparing quotes and invoices; updating project information sheets; relaying project instructions to the laboratory; providing clients information on analytical options; and communicating with clients regarding completed, current, and new work.

**Additional responsibilities, not limited to**:

- Preparation of quotes and/or project plans through discussion of project requirements with clients;
- Ensuring client needs are met by anticipating and discussing issues and options;
- Preparation of proposals and other written materials;
- Critical review of data files;
- Monitor project budgets;
- Organize and update Biologica’s contact lists;
- Assist in the sample inventory process including sample intake, storage and disposal;
- Assist with the shipping and receiving processes to and from clients of samples, equipment and supplies;

**Additional Skills Considered Valuable**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of aquatic invertebrate biology, taxonomy, and ecology is an asset.
