**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety guidelines and regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
- Assist in meal planning and menu development as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals.
- Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients, reporting any shortages to management.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in the food service or food industry, particularly in a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Passion for cooking and creating flavorful meals that delight customers.
