Nonbiri Cafe is a Japanese-inspired café focused on creating a warm, relaxing space for our guests. “Nonbiri” means to take it slow—and we carry that feeling into every detail, from our handcrafted drinks to our carefully curated desserts and pastries.

**About the Role**

As a Barista at Nonbiri Cafe, you’ll play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. From preparing high-quality coffee and drinks to serving pastries and providing excellent customer service, you’ll help ensure every guest has a positive experience. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working in a team, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in their craft.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide warm, professional customer service
- Prepare and serve espresso-based and brewed coffee drinks to a high standard
- Serve sandwiches and pastries according to food safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar and prep area
- Assist with inventory and restocking supplies as needed
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures

**What We’re Looking For**
- Previous barista experience (specialty coffee experience an asset but not required)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working early mornings, weekends, or holidays when needed
