Frecon Construction Limited is a general contractor, construction manager and design-builder serving all of Eastern Ontario. We are a family business and we pride ourselves on our dedication to staff and our commitment to Health and Safety.

We are seeking a Construction Superintendent for projects located in the greater Ottawa area. The superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day management of the construction site, including, but not limited to the following:

- Ensure all workers are compliant with the company safety policy at all times
- Perform weekly tool box talks and safety inspections
- Enforce and maintain good construction standards and quality control
- Maintain a daily job log
- Coordinate and schedule sub-trades throughout the project
- Monitor and maintain the project schedule on a weekly basis
- Maintain CCO, RFI, Site Instructions and Shop drawing logs/binders
- Prepare site version of as-built drawings
- Prepare deficiency lists to sub-trades
- Attain meetings as required
- Schedule inspectors, architects, project engineers as required for all inspections
- Record all installations and construction with daily pictures
- Submit all paper work - invoices, packing slips, safety sheets as required
- Previous ICI construction experience as a construction superintendent
- Journeymen Certificate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service/client relation skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Relevant Safety Certification
- Blueprint reading and strong attention to Construction details
- Must be flexible and a team player
