Building Cleaner

Ottawa, Canada Norberry Residences Ltd. Full time

We are looking for a part-time residential building cleaner. Saturday and Sundays, and some weekday work as needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Clean and maintain designated areas, including offices, restrooms, and common areas
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, fixtures, and equipment
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor
- Adhere to health and safety regulations

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $16.55-$17.55 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 35 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends only

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
