Abbotsford, Canada Nest Egg Poultry Farms Ltd. Full time

We are a family operated free-run egg farm. We are looking for an employee to collect eggs and do basic barn maintenance and flock reporting & care 4 days/week. Start time of 9am, 5(ish) hours of work per day. We are open & flexible about which days of the week, as long as at least one weekend day can be covered and the days are consistent week-to-week.

Daily job responsibilities include:

- barn walk throughs to check bird health, remove mortality & hand collect any mislaid eggs
- collecting and packing eggs onto skids via an egg packing machine (requires lifting of stacks of egg trays and use of pallet jack to move skids to cooler)
- basic cleaning & maintenance such as wiping the egg packing machine and running manure belts
- basic record keeping on paper & digitally (recording cooler temperatures, mortality, egg numbers etc)

Chicken/farm/agriculture experience an asset but not necessarily required. No specific education required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-25 per week

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour
