I am a disabled female in a wheelchair looking to employ friendly, caring and reliable attendants to assist me with my evening/overnight routines in my home. I live in an accessible home in the Brampton/Caledon area with my family and small dog. I am looking preferably for an attendant with some experience as a PSW (or other related experience). The part-time shifts that are available are:
**Fridays 9:30pm-7:00am**

**Saturdays 9:30pm-7:00am**

**(If there is a conflict with these days, a switch to another weekday may be possible)**

This is not a cash job - there will be payroll deductions such as CPP and EI as this job is funded by the government. Vacation pay is also included in each cheque. Pay is bi-weekly. The ”awake” hours, bedtime prep is paid at a rate of $25/hr. The overnight “sleep” portion is a flat rate of $135. The rates are set by the government program I am a part of so not negotiable and not cash.

**Main Duties**:

- assistance with oral care, toileting, dressing...
- transfers using mechanical lifts
- repositioning throughout the night
- light stretching

**Other Information**:

- **no public transportation** into the neighbourhood **ACCESS TO A VEHICLE IS ESSENTIAL**
- quiet rest area provided for attendant, you are encouraged to sleep when I do but some use the time to study
- training will be provided
- non-smoker please
- current CPR and First Aid a benefit
- current police reference check
- proficient in English
