Halifax, Canada Atlantica Hotel Halifax Full time

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Clean a specified number of guest rooms per day as per hotel standards
- Equip bedrooms, bathrooms and suites with required guest supplies according to standard set-ups
- Maintain and restock cart
- Report lost and found items as per hotel policy
- Provide friendly, courteous and efficient guest service in an effort to promote repeat business
- Maintain guest safety and security by following set procedures
- Record and report any required repairs as per hotel procedures
- Dispose of waste according to hotel recycling procedures
- Any other work as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or Designate

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous cleaning or hotel-related experience an asset
- Must be detail-oriented and well organized
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to bend, extend arm reach over head, kneel and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs
- Must be able to push with 20 lbs of force and pull with 30 lbs of force in order to maneuver a stocked cart

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $14.00-$15.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Halifax, NS B3H 3G5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
