This role is responsible for the timely and accurate creation of Production Drawing package of components and assemblies for Executive Office Furniture Specials. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Create Production Drawings and Engineering Models as per directed by Specials Designer / Engineering Supervisor
- Ensures that all drawings created are to meet ISO and Teknion standards
- Working at the direction of the Engineering supervisor to complete design concepts, presentation drawings, shop drawings / work order packages for manufacturing.
- Support in managing Insight, Construct 15 and Imos software that would maintain and improve manufacturing output. Including optimizing Machine Configuration Files (MCF) for CNC Machines.
- Assist in software programs (Construct 15 / Imos, Insight, AutoCAD, Solidworks, Microsoft Office programs) that would be use to generate product symbols and install guides for product catalogues.
- Support in development of integrating new software to enhance Engineering process for manufacturing (i.e. Nesting software, Panel Saw Optimizer).
- Assist in software upgrades, enhancements, customization and testing.
- Liaise / Support Manufacturing ensuring the proper manufacturing process is captured on drawing.
- Liaise with Supplier or product specifications as required ensuring drawing reflects supplier manufacturing capabilities.
- Create Special/Custom and Production Drawings as per directed by Specials/Engineering Supervisor.
- Provide quality control of drawing information by checking the work of other Engineering team.
- Update existing CAD Database and obsolete / out of date drawings for maintenance.
- Meet the requirements of ECN process, ISO and other process standards

**What is required for the role?**
- 5+ years of Solidworks experience & AutoCAD 2D&3D experience
- 5+ years of drafting/ detailing.
- Knowledge of Solidworks PDM system
- Strong knowledge of the working of PC, Excel and a word processing package.
- Knowledge of various manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and manufacturing BOMs
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks / objectives.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communication and writing skills

**What would be an asset for this role?**
- AutoCAD Certification preferred
- Solidworks Certification (CSWP or above) preferred
- 5+ years of 2020 Construct 15 (Imos) experience
