**Project Superintendent**:
The Project Superintendent completes project requirements as per plans and specifications on time and on budget in cooperation with the Project Manager, while promoting and enforcing the Health & Safety program.

**How will you contribute to the team?**:

- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety legislation, policies and procedures in daily operations;
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations, policies and procedures in daily operations;
- Review and monitor Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) to ensure compliance to the requirements of the process and safety of the work
- Represent Kenaidan Contracting Ltd. in dealing with the MOL during on-site visits, as required;
- Coordination of site personnel;
- Coordinate with trade contractors for proper sequencing;
- Maintain accurate and concise records of cost codes and be familiar with current and projected costs;
- Verify and audit site costs against the budget;
- Manage and foresee potential problems in design/construction;
- Develop, with the involvement of the Project Manager, the overall project schedule;
- Coordinate equipment and manpower to achieve schedule requirements;
- Identify potential additional work with the Project Manager and track as required;
- Hold regular trade meetings, safety meetings, etc. and ensure meeting minutes are recorded, posted and distributed;
- Review weekly quantity reports for labour cost;
- Continual review of the contract drawings to identify discrepancies between the various disciplines.

**Education and Experience**:

- Experience as a Site Supervisor/Project Superintendent in a General Contracting environment, managing all aspects of the project
- C.Tech., P.Eng., or CET designation.
- Either hold or are eligible for your ‘Gold Seal’ certification
- 10 -15 years’ construction related experience in the $75~$100 million range
- Water/Waste Water, ICI/Infrastructure, Transport or Airport Project Experience
- Highly competent with self-performed formwork and concrete
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills
- Strong leadership and teambuilding abilities
- Ability to effectively manage an hourly workforce and sub-trades
- Proficiency with MS Office is required.
