Position Overview**:

- Reporting to the Lead - Supply Chain Management, the Materials Management Technician Non-Certified provides customer service to Southern Health-Santé Sud sites and programs. The incumbent is responsible for the ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, and delivery of supplies and equipment for facilities in the region, which also includes driving from site to site.
- The incumbent exercises the appropriate level of initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods to be employed and action to be taken on unusual matters. The position functions in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values; and the policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum one-year (1) relevant experience in a Supply Chain environment.
- Previous experience working with MS Dynamics GP is considered an asset.

**Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)**:

- Grade 12 Education.

**Certification/Licensure/Registration**:

- Not Applicable
- **Qualifications and Skills**:

- Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG).
- Knowledge of basic safe work practices.
