**Winter Walkways Snow Removal & Snow Plow Crew**

Job description

**Responsibilities**:

- Clearing sidewalks, parking lots, and roadways using various snow removal tools and equipment
- Perform snow removal, shoveling and salting of walkways and sidewalks
- Follow and maintain all safety policies and procedures
- Ensure in the winter that sidewalks and all exit areas are clear of ice and snow; shoveling/sanding and salting as required.
- Maintain effective communication throughout snow event.
- Communicate all information to supervisor as required.
- Keep truck and equipment in clean and operating order.
- Work with the Area Supervisor to create a snow removal schedule and complete in a timely manner.
- Other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Physically fit and able to work in winter weather conditions
- Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving records
- Must be able to perform physical work duties for extended periods of time.
- Ability to arrive on time at meeting location for all shifts
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance and snow removal techniques
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Experience operating loaders & tractors to remove snow
- Ability to work 7 days a week, whenever needed

Wage Range:
**Experienced Snow Removal Operators: $24.00 - $30.00/hr based on experience**

**Snow Removal - Sidewalk Crew Members: $24.00 - $28.00/hr**
