**QUALITY MANAGER - 6 Months - 1 Year Contract**

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the leadership and safety of quality team members
- Co-ordinate FSQA programs and maintain certification
- Manage the supplier food safety program
- Manage non-conformance programs with team
- Review of ON HOLD product and resolution
- Respond to all customer complaints and make recommendations and implement corrective actions
- Provide training to direct reports to ensure all program specifications are met
- Co-ordinate activities required for government and customer audits
- Manage department expenses including supplies and equipment
- Perform other duties as required

Education, Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree
- Minimum 5-10 years managerial experience in a food processing environment
- Strong analytical, written/verbal communications, interpersonal skills and the ability to work well across all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
- Strong understanding of the sanitation process in a food manufacturing facility
