_We are looking for professional painters to join our growing company for the spring and the summer season. The skilled Painter must be able paint the interior and exterior of structures, buildings and other surfaces. An excellent painter is knowledgeable in selecting the right material for their job. They have experience in painting with various tools and in various heights and spaces while observing all safety measures. They must be reliable and deft as well as possess great attention to detail in completing their duties. The goal is to deliver high-quality painting work. We do both interior and exterior painting for Residential and commercial client mainly in the Winnipeg Region._
- Responsibilities_
- _Read instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary_
- _Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc._
- _Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc._
- _Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster)_
- _Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture_
- _Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools_
- _Must be able to Scrape, sand, putty, patch, cut straight lines, roll, use a sprayer and any other duties involved in painting._
- _Take and adhere to all health and safety precaution_
- Reqiurements_
- _Proven experience as a painter_
- _Solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques_
- _Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.)_
- _Good basic math skills_
- _Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc._
- _Conscientious with great attention to detail_
- _High school diploma;_
- _Must be will to work out side and inside homes_
- _Must be willing and able to pass a background and security check_
- _Must have a valid drives license and a vehicle for transportation._
- _Must be will to work in a group/team setting_
- _Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in the painting industry._
- _Discipline in cleanliness, professionalism, quality and punctuality_
- This is a full time position_
- Other trade skills or certifications will be considered_
- This position is to start Immediately._

**Salary**: $15.00 to $25.00 /hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
