ChampionX has an immediate need for a **District Representative I** located in **Whitecourt/Fox Creek, AB**. As a District Representative, you will be primarily responsible for maintaining and supporting established production chemical programs for local oil and gas producers as well as for growing the current business. You will be supported by a team of sales and technical professionals and have access to internal training opportunities to grow your technical and sales knowledge.

**What You Will Do**:
- Document and report services provided and project status to customers.
- Work closely with current and new customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned territory.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and new oil and gas producing customers.
- Collaborate with sales and technical team to provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving customer challenges.
- Grow your technical and sales knowledge to better support our customers.
- Actively sell and support ChampionX innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships with ChampionX.
- Some travel is required to support business requirements and receive training.
**Position Details**:
- Territory will include Whitecourt, AB, and the surrounding area, including Fox Creek AB.
- Immigration sponsorship not available for this position.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Experience working in the oil and gas industry and/or sales
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (Driver's Abstract)
- History of working autonomously in the field and ability to demonstrate self-motivation
- Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multitask
**Physical Demands**:
- Must have the ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Diploma, or applicable specialty chemical/operational experience
- Technical sales or field sales support experience
- Specialty chemical industry experience
- Prior experience that required excellent communication skills
- Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills
