The Forklift Operator position will be responsible for performing forklift operations in the apple reception area of the operation.We are currently seeking applicants for a part time and seasonal position for our afternoon/evening shift reporting directly to the Maintenance & Yard Supervisor.

**Key Activities**:

- Operate forklift with attention to Health and Safety requirements.
- Completion of a minimumal amount of paperwork as it relates to operation of forklift.

**Required Education and Experience**:

- Forklift Certification is an asset. We can complete a onsite refresher certification.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act as it relates to Folklift Operations

**Required Technical Competencies**:

- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast paced production environment.
- Some Physical effort requires lifting, pushing, pulling (as per health & safety guidelines) on a regular basis and significant walking, bending and standing. Driving forklift.
- Physical effort requires a high degree of manual dexterity, hand eye coordination for operation of forklift.

**Required Experience**:
Minimum 1 to 3 years’ experience in the forklift operations, preferably in a food or beverage setting

**Shift Details**:
Afternoon/Evening: may require extended work hours during production season.
