Automotive Service Writer

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Greet customers and assess their service needs with professionalism and courtesy.
- Document customer concerns and vehicle information accurately in the system.
- Provide detailed explanations of services needed, including recommendations for repairs and maintenance.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist customers in understanding their vehicle issues.
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales and services rendered.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further concerns.

**Qualifications**
- Previous dealership experience is preferred but not required.
- Mechanic experience or strong mechanical knowledge is highly desirable.
- Proven customer service skills with a focus on building relationships and trust with clients.
- Sales experience, particularly in an automotive context, is a plus.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology is essential.
- Ability to effectively upsell services while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Hours are Monday - Friday 8am-5pm. Salary is negotiable upon review of personal and business performance. You will be entitled to full benefits, 2 weeks vacation, bonuses and / or base salary plus commission on sales.

Pay: $37,812.58-$74,745.56 per year
