**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station, dining area, and equipment
- Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and payment transactions
- Demonstrate knowledge of food handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment

**Experience**
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Experience in the food service industry is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing
- Familiarity with food safety standards and practices
