Coordinator, Parking and Ground Transportation

**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Manager, Operations Ground Transportation Services, this position is responsible to support the operations of Parking and Ground Transportation (GT) Services at Toronto Pearson to deliver a safe and enhanced passenger experience. This role will also support managing and tracking of GT and Parking O&M budget.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Monitor, and continuous improvement of procedures, policies, guidelines, levels of service, rules and regulations related to GT, Public and Employee Parking Operations
- Support the development and implementation of the annual Operations Plan
- Provide support for the managing and monitoring of existing contracts and development of new contract terms, conditions, and level of service with regards to parking and GT operations.
- Oversee activities on Groundside facilities to ensure mínimal impact to operations. Conduct regular inspections of all parking facilities, roadways and curbs.
- Attend regular meetings with Parking, GT and Towing operator to review Service Delivery Performance and address concerns.
- Support Manager Operations in managing and tracking of GT and Parking O&M budget
- Serves as the primary contact and liaison with GTAA Maintenance, Engineering, Risk Management, Security and Customer Experience personnel while overseeing resolution and responses to all operation focused Parking customer complaints.
- Supports business in development of new programs by actively participates in implementation of all parking and GT related projects from the Operational perspective and project planning and roll out including preparation of business documentation

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary school diploma or degree or combination of education, training and/or experience in Parking and GT operations, customer service or equivalent experience
- 5 years’ work experience in an airport environment and/or parking and ground transportation
- Certification from a recognized professional parking or GT association (e.g. CCPFM) would be an asset
- Proficiency in all MS Office programs, including Word, Power Point, Excel, MS Project and Outlook
- Valid Ontario driver’s license.
- Obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position

- Knowledge of Rules, Regulations, Acts and By-laws related to parking and GT in an airport jurisdiction.
- Knowledge of automated parking systems and technology
- Knowledge of contract management and customer service
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proactive and independent in handling work objectives
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Business writing skills
- Knowledge of computer software operations including word processing, spreadsheets, project management and data management.
- Time management skills are crucial to coordinate multiple projects at one time
