**Aquatic Swimming Instructor Introduction**:
**Responsibilities of Aquatic Swimming Instructor**:

- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants, including providing emotional and physical support
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants
- Communicate with parents about their child's development and progress, including providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or questions
- Follow all policies and procedures related to the care and education of infants, including adhering to safety protocols and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications of Aquatic Swimming Instructor**:

- Current LSS Swim or Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Award
- Current lifeguard or assistant lifeguard award
- Current Standard First Aid
- Must attend and successfully complete related mandatory and seasonal training sessions
- Acceptable Police Check for Vulnerable Sector
