Fresenius Medical Care Canada is currently recruiting for a regular, full-time Clinical Application Specialists Manager, based remotely within Canada (frequent travel required). The position entails the following:
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Supports FME’s mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the FME Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and division/company policy requirements.

DUTIES / ACTIVITIES:
CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Responsible for driving the FME culture through values and customer service standards.
- Accountable for outstanding customer service to all customers
- Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication.
- Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

- Supervision and leadership of Clinical Application Specialists in the field including all aspects of daily management inclusive of, but not limited to, scheduling, travel, customer interaction mentoring and performance evaluations.
- Implements the educational strategy developed to service all customers. Assists with education classes as needed. Manages the program’s data and reports the outcomes quarterly.
- Works with marketing, regulatory and sales to develop and approve presentations used by CAS staff.
- Collaborates with HR to recruit, interview and select the best talent to meet the organization’s objectives.
- Provide strong leadership through guidance, coaching, counseling, and advice to all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce, partnering with Human Resources on employee matters. Provides feedback to employees on a consistent basis. Works with employees to develop clear and concise development plans to ensure the advancement of future leaders (succession planning). Completes annual assessment for all direct report employees, utilizing the company performance management tools.
- Strategic leader with knowledge in individual departments, and strong knowledge of company practice and business principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all contacts at all levels both internal and external through diplomacy and tact.
- Orientation of new Clinical Application Specialist staff. Ongoing assessment of CAS skills in the field.
- Collaborate with Sales and with Marketing in developing and delivering clinical and service presentations for customers.
- Works with Senior Director, Renal Services and with Sales colleagues to prioritize presentations, evaluations and implementations.
- Ensures that necessary resources and tools are available to the programs by creating/providing actual resources or the pathway for obtaining these resources.
- Work in field as required conducting equipment evaluations and implementations.
- Functions as a CAS as needed.
- Attend regional and national meetings as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse, BScN preferred. CNephC certification preferred.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
