**You as a Civil Superintendent will**:
- Provide overall construction management including design, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the Project Manager, Subcontractors, Owners, Engineers and Architects
- Manage work on site to ensure the compliance of construction with the drawings, specifications and safety regulations
- Plan and implement schedules, determine manpower levels and material quantities, ensure proper equipment and trades are available as required
- Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing progression
- Advise the Project Manager and senior management of potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties and assist in resolving these problems
- Manage the work activities of direct reports and administrative documentation as required (safety, communication LEMs ) in cooperation with appropriate departments
- Plan and implement schedules, determine manpower levels and material quantities, ensure proper equipment and trades are available as required
- Site Logistics (layout including trailers, access, & storage, erosion and sediment controls, waste management, etc.)
- Ability to proactively identify technical challenges and solutions to the project structure and envelope working with the Construction Sciences department
- Site office set up (temporary power, water, heating)
**Is this the right role for you?**
- You have a construction related degree and 5 to 7 years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience working on** Heavy Civil and Civil Structure projects.**:
- You have an advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control and engineering drawings.
- You have the ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes, produce workable solutions and lead a large team to successful completion.
- You enjoy working in a team environment and providing mentorship and guidance to the site team
