**Your responsibilities**:

- Promote, influence, and ensure the health and safety of the employees.
- Ensure effective communication with his or her team (daily/weekly/monthly).
- Provide the support required to adequately meet daily health and safety demands.
- Plan, direct, organize, and improve the various activities related to the maintenance of the plant.
- Direct and control the human resources assigned to him or her.
- Ensure compliance with the plant's rules while respecting the collective agreement in force.
- Improve the preventive maintenance systems and processes to increase our performance in achieving the plan.
- Improve the systems and processes surrounding die manufacturing and management.
- Support the manufacturing operations on a daily basis (problem solving, technical coaching).
- Participate in the management of the continuous improvement projects.
- Take responsibility for the maintenance sector budgets.
- Participate in the plant management committee.

**Your background**:

- Be a leader and be able to influence his or her team and the management committee.
- Ability to create and maintain partnerships with the internal and external collaborators.
- Autonomous, highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Rigorous in all stages of the management and performance of his or her sector.
- Hold a degree in mechanical, electrical, automation, or operations management.
- Have 5 to 10 years of experience as a manager of a maintenance department and in project management,
- Knowledge of the MP2 maintenance management system (an asset).
- Knowledge of die and cutting tool fabrication and repair (an asset).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, SMED, and Six Sigma principles.
- Command of the main computerized management systems.
- Bilingualism (English, French).
- French is required. English is also required as this position will service internal and external clients from other provinces.
