**Position Summary**:
The Furniture Sales Associate will be responsible for guiding customers, building trust, and helping them purchase the right piece for their space. This position will be based out of our South Common Sofa Land location in Edmonton, AB.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers with enthusiasm as they come into the store
- Provide product information
- Learn about your client's requirements and suggest possible solutions for them
- Accurately enter invoices at the point of purchase
- Follow up with customers to offer additional assistance

**Job Qualifications**:

- Passionate about interior design
- Excited to interact with and meet new people
- Friendly, mature, outgoing, reliable, responsible and flexible
- Ability to demonstrate and lead
- A strong understanding of Key Performance Indicators

**Job Requirements**
- Retail sales or furniture industry experience: 3-5 years with a proven sales history
- Experience working in a customer service or clientele management position
- High school diploma or GED

This position will start with a guaranteed salary for the first three months while building a client base. At this point, sales associates will be paid on commission with the opportunity to earn in excess of $75,000 per year and receive bonuses for surpassing sales goals. Store hours are from 10 am to 8 pm on weekdays, 10 am to 6 pm on Saturdays and 11 am to 5 pm on Sundays. Working on weekends and Statutory Holidays will be mandatory however you will want to work them as that is when most of our business happens.
