**Key Accountabilities**
- Work with the Ownership Team to solicit required information and develop the annual budget for approval
- Establish, monitor, and enforce internal policies, procedures, and controls
- Manage all accounting operations including cash management functions, overseeing invoicing, A/R, A/P, general ledger, cash disbursements, payroll, and bank reconciliation functions
- Manage, coordinate, and perform the preparation and review of budget, financial forecasts, and variances
- Analyze key customers, business segments, processes and transactions etc., to inform decision making with a focus on increased efficiency and improved business processes
- Prepare budget vs. actual analysis of financial statements for the Ownership Team
- Assist in tracking and maintaining fixed asset sub ledgers. Prepare journal entries for new assets as well as depreciation, sale of fixed assets and write-off of fixed assets
- Provide leadership and support to develop administration staff
- Review standard quoting and pricing strategies to ensure consistency with plan
- Prepare working papers for company auditors
- Liaise with company auditors to answer any questions posed by the audit team
- Work with external stakeholders including lenders, accountants, lawyers etc.
- Oversee Health & Safety administration

**Key Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in business, finance or accounting
- CPA designation
- 5+ years in finance or accounting manager role
- 3 years in a leadership role
- Advanced Excel
- QuickBooks Enterprise experience considered an asset
- Hedge fund experience an asset
- Agricultural experience an asset
