Organizational Change Management

West Fraser Timber is seeking an **Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist** who enjoys working in a dynamic environment to join our Collaboration Department and work closely with stakeholders from the PMO. This position is available in our Corporate IT offices in Quesnel or Vancouver.
Reporting to the IT Supervisor for Collaboration, the **OCM Specialist** plays a team role in ensuring new change initiatives introduced into the organization meet the intended business objectives by increasing adoption of the change.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide variety of projects. Some will have a primary focus on OCM; others will include OCM as an integral part of a larger company wide initiative.

You will also have the opportunity to work with IT PMO team members to create robust training and adoption programs and related materials to improve project delivery performance.
**Qualifications**:
- Support leadership to utilize change management best practices and approaches needed to successfully implement projects and initiatives.
- Develop actionable change management plans with associated initiatives and strategies that are appropriately scaled and integrated.
- Analyze problems or issues in a systematic way to identify underlying causes for change resistance. Engage in a range of approaches to generate possible resolutions and holistic solutions.
- Generate original ideas, formulate change strategies, and develop innovative solutions based on a broad knowledge of change management methodologies and techniques.
- Work closely with Project Managers to integrate Change Management activities into project plans.
- Develop and implement a strategy and supporting plans to develop West Fraser’s capability and capacity for change management
- A demonstrated track record (minimum 4 years) of successfully leading the planning and execution of strategic change efforts in support of organization and cultural change.
- Experience creating and delivering change management activities within a project structure.
- Solid understanding of project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
- Experience working within large-scale organizational change efforts.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Change management certification through Prosci a significant plus.
- PMP or ITIL certifications desired but not required.
