**OWNER OPERATOR WITH CUBE VAN - COURIER WORK**

**Dartmouth, NS**

**Main Duties**:

- Delivery and Pick-Up of Freight/Packages
- Make all reasonable efforts to meet established delivery times
- Perform safety checks on truck before each use
- Ensure proper maintenance of truck
- Operate truck/van as required
- Use handheld scanner
- Load and unload vehicle
- Be able to lift heavy packages/freight as required
- Be the face of Loomis Express - provide great customer service to a growing list of customers in your area
- Other duties as assigned and detailed within the CBA & business agreement

**Requirements**:

- Clean driving record, fully licensed for a minimum of two (2) years
- High School education
- Must be willing to obtain own vehicle that meets Company specifications (Cube van)
- Good communication, organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work effectively and on-time within tight time constraints
- Fluently read, write and speak English
- Clear criminal record
- Knowledge of surrounding area
