We are looking for a full time Shipper / Receiver Warehouse Associate in our Hamilton, ON location. Reporting to the manager, this role is to assist with various functions in the warehouse, ensuring proper organization of warehouse and inventory/equipment as well as packing, shipping, receiving and distribution of goods and supplies. Warehouse staff are a vital part of distributing necessary products making it both challenging **and** rewarding work.**

**Principle Responsibilities**
- Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documentation
- Prepare, package and schedule out-going shipments with transport companies
- Ship customer orders and branch transfers ensuring all required paperwork is complete and accurate
- Ensure accuracy and quality of orders being loaded
- Obtain rate and spot quotes for shipments
- Track shipments as required
- Receive, unload, sort orders and inter-company transfers accurately and in a timely manner
- Inspect and compare incoming orders against invoices, record shortages and/or defects
- Maintains accurate bin locations for all goods in the warehouse

**Required knowledge and training**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Computer experience and attention to detail
- Pride in being punctual, self-sufficient, and ability to provide knowledgeable, excellent customer service
- Previous training in forklift operation considered an asset
- Valid Driver's License
- Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs. from floor level to waist level
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
