**Accounting Administrator** **One Year Contract Position - with Benefits** **CMS Steel Pro Inc. is **a respectful, equal opportunity employer where you will be supported to do your best work. **If you are a QuickBooks wizard, this job is for you** **Experience** - 2-5 years experience in a role of similar complexity - Exceptional knowledge of and proficiency in QuickBooks - Proficiency in MS Office Suite **Education** - Accounting, Business Administration, or Construction Administration certificate or degree, or a combination of related education and experience **Benefits** - Group Health and Dental Plan **What your day will look like** - Support daily operations of finance department, including timely processing of payroll and general journal entries. - Preparation of government remittances for filing (WCB, Payroll, HST) - Monthly account reconciliations for supplier accounts and corporate credit cards - Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems (for example: equipment databases) - Support the preparation of background information for project implementation, work plans, and budgets. - Be responsible for onboarding employees into the financial system. - Be responsible for ensuring best practices for QuickBooks are implemented & maintained. - Support development and implementation of finance policies and procedures - T4 preparation - Consistently evaluate company processes and pro-actively encourage adoption of best practices. - Other duties as assigned relative to the position. **Requirements**: - Exceptional Knowledge and proficiency in QuickBooks - Proficiency in MS Office Suite - Familiarity with prepaid and fixed assets, accruals, and variance analyses. - Ability to maintain an organized and systematic paper and electronic filing system. - Must possess excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, and written skills. - Ability to adapt to a changing and growing environment. - Strong Team Player with a "CAN DO" attitude. **ABOUT CMS STEEL PRO INC.** CMS Steel Pro has established itself as a provider of high-quality fabrication & mechanical services to the industrial sector across Canada & the United States.
