Oshawa, Canada Oshawa Paint & Wallpaper Full time

This position is responsible for supporting the sales efforts at a Benjamin Moore paint store, servicing wholesale and retail customers in a busy, but friendly environment. We are located in north Oshawa.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Interacting with both commercial and retail customers, determining their needs and proposing appropriate products and services.
- Tinting and mixing paint and stains.
- Processing sales through a point of sale system.
- Maintaining accurate records of orders and colour formulas.
- Having an affinity for visual merchandising and performing daily housekeeping duties within the store.
- Receiving shipments from paint and sundry manufacturers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to work Saturdays on a rotational basis.
- Must have a good eye for colour.
- Must be able to lift 5 gallon pails weighing 50 lbs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous retail and paint sales experience.
- Colour matching experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-24 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Shift:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Oshawa, ON L1G 4W2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 2 years (required)
