**Career Opportunity**:
Automotive Wholesale Distributor is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the Prince George Distribution Center

**Basic Functions**

The purpose of the Warehouse Supervisor position is to support the Branch Manager to ensure the effective operations of Independent Glass Distributors. This is a multi-functional position which is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service. The primary function of this position will be supporting inventory control, stock picking and put away, shipping, as well as Customer Sales and Service.

**Organizational Structure**

This position reports directly to the Branch Manager.

- Warehouse Manager
- Warehouse personnel
- Delivery Drivers
- IGD Customers

**Nature and Scope**

This is a full-time position with the typical hours being Monday to Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Occasional flexibility in hours may be required for inventory counts, special projects, meetings and committee industry functions, which may occur outside of these regular hours.

The nature of the basic function of this job requires a standard understanding of company operations, policies and procedures and computer functionality. Strong sales skills and team leadership are a must. In this position you will be required to:

- Build familiarity with all products and services offered by IGD.
- Follow all corporate policies and procedures.
- Promote sales growth for IGD with direct customer contact.
- Effectively complete all administrative office duties as required.
- Support warehousing and delivery duties as required.

**Required Skills**:

- Management experience - Wholesale Distribution and/or Sales Management
- Forklift experience
- Class 5 Drivers License
- Strong communicator with interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Basic computer knowledge
