Notre équipe polyvalente de scientifiques, munie de plateformes technologiques à la fine pointe du progrès a joué un rôle essentiel dans le développement, la qualification, validation de tests et leur utilisation en haut débit dans plus de 100 dossiers associés à l’approbation par la FDA de nouvelles entités moléculaires, comprenant des vaccins majeurs, des antiviraux et des produits d’immunothérapie, de thérapie génique ou cellulaire.

**Principales responsabilités**
- Produire des protéines dans différents systèmes d’expression ;
- Procéder à la purification de protéines recombinantes en utilisant des résines Ni-NTA en suivant des protocoles établis ;
- Réaliser différents tests de caractérisation physico-chimiques pour mesurer la stabilité des protéines ;
- Supporter les scientifiques en purification de protéine, en caractérisation de protéines, en expression de protéines et dans toutes autres tâches connexes de laboratoire ;
- Consigner les résultats dans des cahiers de laboratoire selon les SOP établies
- Faire le suivi et maintenir l’inventaire des réactifs et matériels du groupe ;
- Suivre les procédures en place afin d’assurer la qualité et l’intégrité des résultats;
- Effectuer l’entretien et la calibration des instruments lorsque nécessaire;
- Participer proactivement à toutes initiatives permettant l’optimisation des opérations, la satisfaction de nos clients et la croissance de l’entreprise.

**Connaissances, compétences et aptitudes**
- Expérience pertinente en science des protéines;
- Excellentes compétences analytiques et résolution de problèmes;
- Aptitude pour le travail minutieux, la communication et le travail en équipe dans un environnement multidisciplinaire;
- Autonome, flexible et ingénieux;
- À l’aise dans des environnements à forte croissance;
- Capacité à travailler sur plusieurs projets, à respecter les délais et faire preuve de flexibilité afin de répondre aux changements de priorités
- Connaissance des principaux logiciels informatiques de la suite MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

**Qualifications requises**
- Au minimum un baccalauréat en sciences biologiques avec 2 ans d'expérience en science des protéines;
- Expérience en industrie (CRO, Biopharma ou biotech);
- Bonne maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, écrit et parlé.

The Scientist for Assay Development contributes to the design of and is responsible for experiment execution of assay/method development.

Essential Functions
- Responsible for contributing to the design of and development execution under moderate supervision.
- Executes assigned tasks and activities to support assay/method development.
- Contributes to technical discussions, experimental design, data review, and sponsor inquiries.
- Assists in troubleshooting and process improvements to increase data quality, lower costs, or reduce turnaround times.
- Presents assay development results in support of data review and transfer to Validation or Production lab.
- Works collaboratively with cross functional stakeholders to facilitate the assay development process.
- Assists in the preparation of technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses.
- Maintains laboratory notebooks under applicable regulatory standards and good documentation practices.
- Follows all appropriate lab and company SOP's.
- Participates in continuing education through self-study, attending training sessions and lectures and meetings.
- Responsible for the production of quality data and documentation in adherence to timelines in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Support safety and 6S requirements and initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in relevant scientific discipline, chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology degree
- 2 years of related experience in method or assay development or specific methodology area.
- Basic knowledge of assay/method development and/or assigned methodology principles, theories, concepts, and instrumentation, typically obtained through advanced education.
- Understanding of sample handling and preparation.
- Proficiency with relevant laboratory techniques.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and infection control procedures and practices including standard precautions and hazardous chemical handling.
- General awareness of the broader drug development process and the interaction of method development in that process.
- Ability to troubleshoot laboratory equipment and resolve process issues.
- Basic understanding of requirements under relevant regulatory standards for assigned work area.
