**About your next** Challenge** as a **Manager, Procurement**:
L3Harris MAS Inc is seeking a Manager, Procurement to contribute to the success and growth of our company located in Mirabel, QC. The Manager, Procurement is responsible for all purchasing activities in compliance with the company policies. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced complex environment. This position requires a minimum of 9 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain or subcontracting in an In-Service-Support (ISS) environment in support of Aerospace Defense contracts.

**What You Will Do**:

- Tactical oversight for performance of all aspects of Supply Chain in support of the Procurement Team;
- Directs and facilitates purchasing activity to meet schedule requirements; generates and reschedules purchase orders for sourced goods and services;
- Develop, drive, and execute purchasing projects. Must have functional and operational experience in the field of Supply Chain Management;
- Provide training/guidance related to RFQ’s, SOW’s, negotiations, adherence to policies and procedures;
- Review and approve purchase order packages as per the company policy.
- Collaboratively work with peers across the Business sector to standardize and mature purchasing management processes;
- Facilitates the supplier evaluation program and reports on all key performance indicators;
- Support and drive YoY improvement on standard metrics (i.e. OTD, Pay Terms, Red Suppliers etc.);
- Generate, communicate and keep up-to-date performance measurement reports related to the management of the supply chain and logistics;
- Assist in the management of supplier relationships and supplier performance to achieve program and customer requirement. Interacts with suppliers to ensure appropriate support and execution of deliverables as well as participate in managing supplier relationships and performance;
- Work with the assigned functional and program leaders to track and coordinate all program deliverables, highlighting key program risks and putting plans in place to mitigate those risks, providing regular reports/updates on program status;
- Write and hold mid-year and year-end performance reviews and conduct career development discussions. Monthly one on ones with each member of the team. Coordinating monthly staff meetings for SCM;
- Create and maintain an environment where team members recommend and implement changes in procedures to improve value-added activities and eliminate non-value added activities;
- Provide leadership and coaching that foster high team morale and effectiveness;
- Develop and cross-train team members to support operational plans; ensure training plans are effective and documented.

**Required Skills and Experiences**:

- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience;
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, and material management processes in an In Service Support Aerospace environment required;
- Should demonstrate and lead with effective management skills to direct and manage employees to achieve program, project, department and business goals and objectives.
- A problem solver capable of making decisions to resolve issues;
- Negotiating skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English required;
**Preferred Additional Skills**:

- Graduate degree in Supply Chain or related field;
- Change Management experience;
- Risk Mitigation experience;
- SAP knowledge;
- Knowledge of developing reports utilizing PowerBI or Taleo.

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada **“Reliability”** status and/or **Level 2 (Secret)** security clearance;
