Omachron is looking for a Seasonal Agriculture Research Technician/General Labour/Security Worker person to join our team as soon as possible.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Perform chaperoning and monitoring of guests and visitors
- Weekly janitorial duties
- Weekly/Daily janitorial and maintenance duties to ensure our site meets and exceeds all cleanliness and safety standards. This includes shared spaces, laboratories, and outdoor areas
- Occasional pick-ups and deliveries.
- The incumbent will work with other departments to assist in projects and ongoing work as required
- General outdoor maintenance including lawn cutting, weed trimming, raking etc.
- Performing winter maintenance functions including all aspects of snow removal including operating equipment i.e., manual snow blowers including hand shovelling and sanding/salting activities
- Assisting with growing, gardening, and aquaculture
- The individual in this position is required to follow any other instructions and perform any other duties as assigned by this position’s management

- Customer service and communication skills (written and oral)
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Ability to manage multiple assignments at one time and meet deadlines
- Flexibility and curiosity to learn new things
- Basic Computer literacy
- Good record-keeping abilities
- Be eligible to work in Canada
- Have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- G Class Drivers license with a clear abstract
- First Aid Training is a strong asset
- Security Licence is a strong asset
- Bobcat/Skid Steering Safety Training, Front-End Loader Training, Working at Heights Training, Ladder Training, Mechanical Lockout/Tagout, Forklift Safety Training, Chainsaw Training, Elevated Platform Training are considered assets
