iKids Montessori Academy is looking for an Early Childhood Educational Assistant (ECA). **Early Childhood Assistants **at iKids Montessori Academy play an important role in providing care for all children under the guidance of early childhood educators. Working collaboratively with ECE’s, **ECA’s **lead children in activities to stimulate and develop their intellectual, physical and emotional growth and ensure their security and well-being. As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will perform some or all of the following duties during your employment with iKids Montessori Academy:

- Supporting the ECE's and CASA educators in implementing programming that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development for children both inside and outside of the classroom,
- Supporting and supervising the children through their daily routine (diapering, toileting, feeding and dressing),
- Establishing collaborative relationships with families, children and staff through open communication and positive professional interactions,
- Utilizing our reporting app HiMama to document all aspects of children's daily routines,
- Ensuring all policies and procedures set out by the centre, Ministry of Education and Public Health are complied and documented where necessary,
- Perform housekeeping duties (such as sweeping, mopping, sanitizing toys and child washrooms,
- Attend staff meetings, professional development days and/or workshops
- Work as a team with educators, and families
