Kids Great Minds is looking for a Program Supervisor who is a dynamic, self motivated, organized individual who can work both independently and in a team. You will assist the Program Director with the administration and supervision of the recreation programs and camps for children and youth. You will be required to demonstrate critical thinking skills, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and prioritize duties in a busy corporate setting.

From June-August you will be working full time day-time hours, supervising day camp programs throughout the region. In the remaining seasons, you have the flexibility to work part-time, as programs transition to seasonal recreation formats.

**The program supervisor is responsible for**:

- Supporting the Program Director with administration and organization of summer camps documentation.
- **Recruitment of instructors**, co-op students and volunteers to deliver program services. **As well as managing performance, training and coaching of all staff for continuous improved performance.**:

- Assisting with delivering classes and programs that serve the communities while meeting the needs and interests of all participants in an inclusive manner.

- Assists in equipment inspections, inventory, delivery, and documentation.
- Assisting with communication between camp staff, students, and parents.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills.
- Supporting/supervising instructors in the classroom program, so they can perform optimally.
- Post - secondary degree or diploma in the field of Recreation, Community Development, or related field along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Specialized training in areas including project management, community engagement is an asset.
- Strong administrative, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment and interest in broadening your experience is desired.
- Experience/ training children with special education is a plus.
- **Availability to work flexible and irregular hours** at times, including evenings and weekends will be required to accommodate work in different seasons.
- The flexibility to work remotely and on-site at our headquarters in Vaughan and site visits to classes in the central **GTA (York region; Newmarket, Richmond Hill, Aurora, Vaughan, Markham, East Gwillimbury).**:

- Access to your own transportation and a G class license.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google tools.
- Current CPR, First Aid Certification and High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development (or willing to obtain within the first 3 months of start date).
