Programs range from primary care to acute care, and includes laboratories, pharmaceuticals and diagnostics. Additional programs that also support patient care and information, include Virtual Care, the MySaskHealthRecord, and the Provincial Electronic Health Record. eHealth is also responsible for the administration of various pieces of legislation to manage the registration of/changes to all vital event records (e.g. birth, marriage, death, etc.), registration of legal name changes, registration of adoptions, and for maintaining the provincial health registry for health services eligibility and distribution of health services cards. The eHealth teams engage directly with health system partners and other stakeholders both provincially and federally to ensure all services are delivered efficiently and effectively. **About the Role**: eHealth Saskatchewan is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Analyst to join the team and assist in the support of IT services that eHealth provides to health partners across Saskatchewan. This individual will possess excellent customer service skills along with strong technical and leadership abilities, be detailed oriented, take pride in their work and enjoy the challenges that go with it. **What are we looking for?** We are seeking a skilled Storage and Backup Infrastructure Analyst II to join the team and assist in the support of IT services that eHealth provides to the Health Regions across Saskatchewan. The role is technology driven and will require technical knowledge in a vast set of tools and infrastructure knowledge. Reporting to the Datacenter Infrastructure Manager, your primary responsibility will be to support eHealth’s Storage and Backup environment. This includes managing current state and assisting with solution design of future state. You will participate in creating and managing the work plans and process documentation as it relates to endpoint management. Other responsibilities include preparing status reports and managing issue escalations. **To qualify for this position you will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following areas**: - Intermediate level Knowledge with all concepts and components of Storage Area Networks (SAN) (i.e. Block Storage, All Flash Storage, HBA, Fiber Channel, MPIO etc ). - Intermediate level knowledge with Network Attached Storage (NAS). - Intermediate level knowledge with Data Protection and Enterprise Class Backup Solutions\Concepts. (i.e. VMware VADP, SQL Always-On Backups, Exchange DAG Backups, NDMP, Replication, Deduplication) - Intermediate level knowledge with Storage migration (Block based and File Systems). **Knowledge or experience in the following areas would be an asset for this position**: - VMware; - DELL EMC Avamar or Power Protect Data Manager or Data Protection Advisor or RP4VM; - DELL EMC PowerMax or Isilon or Data Domain; - DataDobi DobiMigrate; - Cisco MDS hardware\NXOS or UCS; - Microsoft SQL Always on or Exchange DAG; Foundational knowledge and skills required for this position would be attained through the completion of post-secondary degree or diploma related to Information Technology. In addition, you will have at least 5 years of experience working in an enterprise class IT environment. **Competencies** - Communication_: - Ability to write/create and communicate (verbal and written), explain or present (technical or non-technical) information to wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals and/or groups in a clear, accurate and understandable manner. Material may include, but is not limited to: user, systems and requirements documentation and procedures, project plans, letters, requests for proposals, feasibility studies, recommendations and reports, at a level appropriate to the target group. - Leadership:_ - Ability to conceptualize, develop, monitor, adjust and implement projects, including facilitating a group process to successfully implement technological change and business transition within the organization, taking into consideration numerous and changing priorities, and or resources to achieve project goals. - Problem Solving:_ - Ability to identify, explore
